A Beautiful Mind

21-Day Mindfulness Challenge

Start off 2021 by giving your mental well-being the gift of mindfulness techniques. More and more, the words breathing, taking a break, expressing gratitude and practicing mindfulness are becoming synonymous with “mental health.” 
 
Those practices force us to slow down and pay attention to the present moment, which supports us in becoming more aware of our actual feelings so that we can better manage them. This leads to a ripple effect of healthy decision making that lends long-term happiness and fulfillment.
 
In this 21-day challenge, we’ll introduce you to small activities, tasks and thought patterns that can help you tune in to the moment, both increasing satisfaction or, just as useful, observing dissatisfaction so that you can course-correct. Each day, we will also provide an optional meditation.

According to the American Psychological Association (APA.org), mindfulness is:

​“…a moment-to-moment awareness of one’s experience without judgment. In this sense, mindfulness is a state and not a trait. While it might be promoted by certain practices or activities, such as meditation, it is not equivalent to or synonymous with them.”
