How to sync your Fitbit device to the Challenge portal.
Once your Fitbit account is linked with your Personal Wellness Account, your data will also sync automatically with any verified step challenge you are part of.
Step 1: Verify that your Fitbit device is paired with your Fitbit account Log into your Fitbit.com account and click the gear icon in the top right corner. You should see an icon representing your tracker in the drop-down menu. If you don't see an icon in this menu, no tracker is paired with the account. In that case, follow the instructions in How do I set up my Fitbit tracker on a computer? for help pairing your tracker with the account.
Step 2: Link your Fitbit account to your Personal Wellness Account
On your Me > App Linking page, you will see the Date & Time of your last sync in the Fitbit section.
What do I do if my steps have not synced for awhile?
On your Me > App Linking page, you can click the "Force Sync" to nudge Fitbit to send new step data over. Launching the Fitbit app on your phone is also an effective way to push new steps into your account.
It's important you continue logging into the Challenge portal and launching the Fitbit app on your phone daily during a Challenge to keep data flowing.
STEP 1: Log in to Fitbit.com and confirm you see your steps there.
Make sure you have your Fitbit device paired with your Fitbit account.
Step 2: Logged into Fitbit.com, go to your Profile page.
Ensure you have your Country, State, and City information filled out. Sometimes this is a factor.
Step 3: Log into the CHallenge portal on your computer and go to your Me > App Linking page.
Click the "Force Sync" link.
Wait 5 minutes and refresh the page and see if the date/time of your last sync updates to the current time.
Step 4:Try Re-Linking your Fitbit Account to the Challenge Portal.
Lastly, log back into your personal wellness account from kkr-wellnessworks.com/log-inand relink your Fitbit device in the Me>App Linking section
Once data is flowing from your device to Fitbit, you can click the "Force Sync" found next to Fitbit in the Me > App Linking section. Alternatively, launching the Fitbit app on your phone is also a great way to activate Fitbit to send new step data. You will generally see your steps update in the portal within a few minutes of launching the Fitbit app. Please let us know how this goes for you.
