When feeling overwhelmed, mindfulnesss experts recommend take a few slow, deep breaths to help reduce the “fight or flight” response and help the body relax.
Even if you only have a few moments, try step outside to breathe in the fresh air. Connect with nature by going for a walk in the sunlight whenever possible.
Talk regularly to family and friends by video or phone. It important to help alleviate feelings of loneliness or isolation.
